Marisa co-founded Madison Recruitment, New Zealand’s largest privately-owned recruitment company, which she successfully exited in a record-breaking 8-figure deal. She knows exactly what it takes to grow a business from the ground up—and how to do it in a way that’s sustainable and rewarding.
Marisa was born in New Zealand, raised in West Auckland, and shaped by her hardworking immigrant parents who ran restaurants. As the eldest of five, she learned early how to lead, problem-solve, and take responsibility. These values carried through to her business career, where she built and exited multiple ventures, became an investor and mentor, and in 2020 was inducted into the New Zealand Hall of Fame for Women Entrepreneurs.
