Most NZ founders know Callaghan and NZTE. Fewer know the regional development agency grants, the sector-specific funds, and the philanthropic capital quietly active in the market.

Start with R&D Tax Incentive if you have any technical development. It's the largest, easiest pool of capital most founders ignore.

Regional agencies (ATEED, ChristchurchNZ, etc.) run smaller but faster grant programs aimed at growing local businesses.

Write the application as a story, not a form. Reviewers read hundreds. Be the one they remember.
